Bio
Miles Morgan is a singer songwriter from Ames, IA. He is currently trying to turn music into his full time gig. His style of writing is somewhere between folk and pop rock. Someone once described him as “acoustic pop with a kiss of country”. He can’t remember who said that but he liked it a lot so he decided to put it in his bio. Miles has an amazing wife, who will add her beautiful voice to things if he asks nicely, and three amazing kids.
Miles enjoys performing in many genres and is classically trained. You might find him singing the national anthem at an Iowa Cubs game, performing with the Ames Municipal Band, or singing 50s, 60s, and 70s standards at assisted living facilities. He would also like you to know that he would be more than happy to sing for you via Zoom or at your wedding, farmers market, rehearsal dinner, restaurant, or anywhere you envision music. Currently Miles is writing and recording some new original songs and hoping that this year brings a few more live gigs his way as the world slowly gets back to a new normal. (Fingers crossed)
